Steve inherited his fathers masonic ring and it had been collecting dust for many years. He felt it was too bulky for his liking and wanted to modernize the heirloom. We came up with a design that honored part of the original design - he liked the triangle bead setting around the diamond and the white gold face over the yellow gold body. We melted down the white gold and yellow gold and set the diamond into a triangle bead set face over a much sleeker band. Now Steve wears his modernized heirloom every day!

David came into the studio wanting to design a rad ring for himself and an heirloom he could pass down to his children one day. He wanted a big statement piece of purple and gold and we landed on this GORGEOUS 16x12mm 11 carat amethyst. I loved working on this heirloom and just adored the hopes & wishes that were laced into the design. Plus it just looks so cool on David's tatted hands!

We all hear stories about grandmother engagement rings being used as a new engagement ring for proposals, but have you ever heard of one being used as a wedding band instead?
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Preston came into our studio with a rad idea one day. He didn't know if it was even possible! He wanted to incorporate his grandmothers ring into a new wedding band, and wanted to keep the back half of the ring that had a special engraving in it and wanted the front half of the ring to also be a different color gold. Cool right?! He also wanted to have his and his fiancé Kelly's birthstones set inside the ring. As a surprise for Preston, Kelly also had a special message engraved inside the new part of the band.

I love the way it turned out! The way the yellow gold and white gold look fused together and how the texture gradually dissolves into the high polish of the gold band. 🤩
