Broken vessels are a constant in the life of a potter. Some were repaired, some were reused, and some returned to the earth. The cracks in the vessel I crafted are filled with gold. The technique is inspired by kintsugi, the Japanese art of repairing broken pottery with gold. Gold pours out of the vessel. As the liquid filters out, the remaining precious gems are revealed.
